The hammer-roller crusher is a composite crushing equipment that combines the characteristics of hammer crushing and roller crushing. Its core structure consists of a main shaft with heavy hammer heads attached and a slowly rotating roller shaft. The relative movement of the two shafts forms a composite crushing chamber. When the material enters the machine, it is first severely crushed by the high-speed rotating heavy hammer (impact crushing), and then the crushed material impacts on the surface of another slowly rotating roller, using the rolling pressure of the roller surface for further crushing, and then is discharged through the discharge port. It is mainly used for processing materials that are prone to adhesion and require a large crushing ratio, especially for the treatment of returned materials in fertilizer production.
Product features
High crushing efficiency: The material is crushed through the collision between the high-speed rotating hammer body and the material. At the same time, the rolling effect of the roller-type crushing is combined. The crushing ratio is large, generally ranging from 10 to 25, and in some cases up to 50. It can crush large pieces of material into smaller particle sizes at one go, with high production capacity.
Good product particle size: The finished product has good particle shape, mostly in a cubic shape, with less needle-like and flake content, and high mechanical strength of the particles. It can meet higher particle size requirements.
Easy maintenance: The wear parts such as hammer heads and liners are designed in a modular way. When replacing them, there is no need to dismantle the rotor, reducing the downtime. In addition, the rear cover can be hydraulically opened or equipped with an observation door, making it convenient for quick inspection of internal wear conditions.
Lower energy consumption: The unique triple crushing method, namely hammer head impact, material collision with the counter plate, and material collision with each other, achieves efficient crushing while having lower energy consumption. Compared with jaw or cone crushers, the energy-saving effect is obvious.
