By utilizing the rotation of the drum and the liquid-phase conditions provided by steam, this system achieves large-scale continuous granulation. This system covers the entire process from raw materials to finished products, and is particularly suitable for the production of high, medium, and low concentration compound fertilizers as well as organic-inorganic compound fertilizers.
Core process flow
The operation of this production line follows a strict physical and chemical process, with the core being "steam humidification" and "agglomeration into balls".
Raw material pretreatment and batching: Nitrogen (urea, etc.), phosphorus (phosphate ammonium, etc.), potassium (potassium chloride, etc.), and fillers are crushed and then precisely weighed according to the formula by a computer-controlled automatic batching system and sent to the mixer for strong stirring.
Drum granulation (core step): The mixed material enters the drum granulation machine and saturated steam is introduced simultaneously. The steam not only raises the material temperature (dissolving salts) but also provides a liquid phase. The material is agglomerated into balls under the rolling and squeezing effect produced by the rotation of the drum, forming particles of 2-4mm.
Drying and cooling: Wet particles enter the rotary dryer (with a hot air furnace) to remove moisture; then they enter the rotary cooling machine to cool down, preventing caking and improving the particle strength. Screening and refeeding: The cooled particles are sorted by a drum screen. Qualified products enter the next process; fine powder is directly returned to the granulation machine as "crystallization nuclei", and large particles are broken down and returned to the system (the ratio of refeeding is the key to controlling production volume).
Coating and packaging: Qualified particles are sprayed with anti-caking agents (oil/powder) or added with biological agents in the coating machine, and then packaged and stored by an automatic packaging scale.
